How to Hide Comments in Word
You can hide comments in word to prevent someone else from seeing them. This is especially useful when you’re creating a final version of a document, or you just want to keep your reviewers’ comments hidden.
How to hide comments in word open your Word document and click the Review tab. In the Tracking group, click Display for Review to show or hide comments. The options available in the drop-down menu include Simple Markup which displays the markup area showing all comments and revisions, and includes lines referencing their locations in the text; All Markup which hides the markup area and shows only changes marked as tracked revisions; and Original which hides both the comment sidebar and any revisions that might be made to the document.

While you can still navigate through your comments using the Next and Previous commands in the Reviewing Pane, these features will not work if you hide the comment sidebar. To get around this, you’ll need to change the view settings.
Alternatively, you can use the Delete Comment button in the Tracking group of the Review tab to quickly remove a single comment. You can also resolve a comment by right-clicking on it and selecting Delete Comment or Resolve Comment. If you decide to delete a comment, it will remain in your file history for future reference but will not be displayed. If you’re concerned about deleting comments, consider converting your Word file into a PDF format instead.
